Digital Signal Processing, what else?

Rick, the Stack Exchange does that for posts that have either no answers or answers by no "ticked" answer. The idea is that we will eventually get answers to all questions. Our current site-wide answer rate is only 74%, which is not great for the *.SE network. If you see one of these, and there is a sensible answer, please feel free to ping the OP (the ...

I'm trying to see whether it's possible. It looks like questions with OPEN bounties can have the bounties refunded, but I can't see that option on that question... which was closed in October 2014 (so it doesn't have an open bounty). This question suggests that you should receive the bounty back automatically, though. I can see the bounty refund on your ...

I tend to use \mathrm{} macro with a tiny space: \;\mathrm{Hz} Another possibility is to use simple \text{} mode instead.

From the teacher's lounge: If [kalman-filters] is synonymised with [kalman], then when you try to add [kalman-filters] in the tag box, it'll automatically map to [kalman]. So all I had to do was to check here and delete the synonym.

Rick you have to use the (not very obvious) tabs on your profile page and select the Edit Profile & Settings "tab".

Rick, as Normal Human says in the comment, I (and the other mods) generally can't do that. What Human suggests is normally your best bet. However, a simple Google search for "johnwbyrd" suggests that this github user and this DSP.SE user are the same person. They use the same profile pictures and the same user name, anyhow. The github link points to this ...

You cannot undo the review actions you have done, but you can undo the effect outside of the review. For suggested edits: If the edit has been applied (e.g. this edit on your own post), rollback it, or If the review is still pending (e.g. this and this), wait and hope that other reviewers reject it.

I've just tried again, with the same result. As there were only 9 questions with the tag kalman I've deleted these tags and, where the question did not have it already, added the tag kalman-filters. Hopefully kalman will disappear at 03:00 UTC today. I've just tried, as moderator, to merge these two tags... but I get an "Ooops" error message. Let's see ...

Are you certain that you were logged in, etc? By the look of it, this edit was proposed by an anonymous user. There are no other edits/actions made with respect to that question.

It's not clear to me that Man and user46417 are the same. The system logs IP addresses and registered email addresses and both are very different for each user. I can also see that the two are not acting as "sock puppet" accounts. Again, the system flags cross-support and neither shows any activity like that. Perhaps they're just interested in the same ...

OK, I've undeleted that question and its answer. The general SE consensus seems to be that SE owns the rights to the information and can do with it what it wants. In this case, I think it's better to have the information available than not. I'll do some investigation to see whether undeleting it is OK. Here's a copy of the question and its answer. I'll ...

Robert, I see that you deleted your answer. As it is right now, it's visible only to you, mods and users with enough of reputation. You can't really delete it completely. I believe that only SE mods can remove deleted posts in full. This page might be of some help.

rb-j, that seems to be standard operating procedure for all Stack Exchange sites. See this answer for why you may not be able to edit a question: There are a handful of conditions where we will stop accepting suggested edits: A large number of suggested edits by you were rejected in the past week (at least 5 more than one-third of your accepted edits). We ...

I'm sure there are one or two! I'm one. I'm not sure how to add an advertisement here, though?
